Even though it's not recommended for the best accuracy, I tested this with steel cased FMJ (it's what I had available). It's everything I expected and what I waited for. I love it. I hope Short Lane keeps 'em coming. .357/.38 SPL in a Zombie threaded would be sweet!

I now have a collection of short lane arms 12 gauge adapters, I love these things and I pass recommend them to everyone I know. the only draw back is they cant make a 12 gauge to .17 HMR yet.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for the 9" rifled edition of this one.
Thanks guys, keep up the good work!

I tested the 8" .22 out today and jumped right on here when I came in the door to do this review. It worked great hitting the target in within 3" with ATI Deluxe Heat shield with Ghost Ring Sights SBS4600 on my H&R single shot shotgun. I also tested the 3" 9mm Zombie Series Adapters ---- ( 3 inch Rifled ) Also worked great same thing at 25 yards still hitting within 3". I have a few .22 no-rifled ones they hit just fine also but keyhole not a big deal. I also have 4 or 5 12 to .410 and they all work great there not all short lane ones on the .410 but all work great.

i purchased the 12 x 9mm adapter and was pleasentley impressed of how simple but effective of a product it is after shooting the adapter i noticed that it was suprisingly accurate. I think this is a must have for any BOB or outdoor kit i give it a thumbs up thanks , Yote killa
