Picked up a new used NEF 12 ga today, took it out with my new 12 to 20 ga adapter. My 14 year old son and I shot about a dozen shells, and it performed great. Can't wait to purchase some different adapters. Kudos to Dave Canterbury, for letting us know about a great product.

I was excited to try it - been looking for a product like this - realized that I only need one gun! Lots of fun, really enjoy using this adaptor - works great!
Waiting for the development of a 12 gauge to 22-250!

This adapter works great. It has given new versatility to an old shotgun. Now my wife can enjoy shooting her shotgun thanks to the greatly reduced felt recoil. Thanks, Corc517.

High quality, worked perfect and great price. I love being able to use one gun for multiple calibers. Great product!

I've owned a couple other brand adapters and they seemed really brittle, and not well machined. So when I got the Short Lane Adapter I was extremely impressed with how well machined it was, and how rugged it felt.
I haven't had a chance to shoot it just yet, but i'm sure it'll be solid. I keep my adapters in a zippered side saddle on my H&R Single Shot 12....It's basically set up as my wilderness survival gun in case things go south while i'm out and about and need to rely on a single gun to do multiple jobs. I'll definitely be ordering more from SL in the very near future - Great work, fellas!

When I received the 12x20ga adapter I dropped it into both top and bottom barrels of my o/u
12 ga. I had a perfect fit and the action closed up snug just as if there was a 12 ga. shell in it. All the machining is first rate and has nice smooth edges. The 20 ga. shells drop right in and there is a minimum of movement inside the chamber. I hate to admit I have not had the time to go out and test fire it yet but if fit and finish and quality of workmanship are good indicators there are no questions in my mind that this device will work as advertised. Thanks Short Lane for offering a product that stands out above and beyond the customers best hopes. I will buy another product from this company.

Recently purchased the second of two 12 to 20 gauge inserts. With these two inserts I have taken a double barrel 12 gauge I seldom shot due to recoil and turned it into a 20 gauge I enjoy shooting. The weight of the 12 gauge makes the 20 gauge rounds very manageable ... guys, think home defense weapon for the wife and kids to use.

I like to do skeet shooting. It worked perfectly. Was able to hit the mark and had less recoil than the 12 gauge. I liked it so much I bought the rifled 9mm and just ordered the rifled 22LR. 9mm worked well too. Can't wait to try the 22.

This is my third purchase from Short Lane Arms. I have the 8" 12 to .22 and 12 to 9mm adapters and they are awesome. I just added the 12 to 20 adapter this week and it is just wonderful. The machine work is very nice with no sharp edges. I took it out the second day and got a squirrel with it. I had a 12 in the shotgun and saw the squirrel, I quickly swapped it out for the 12 to 20 adapter with a new shell and tango down. The squirrel was down but with not too much damage. This is perfect for smaller game because the 12 world have shredded the meat but the 20 saved all the meat. Then skin it and stew it with some veggie broth, onions and mushrooms and served over rice. Yum.
